A.S.K. Cookout

End the summer with the ASK cookout. We’ll provide the hot-dogs and hamburgers. Just bring a side and/or drink. The event will be at the pavilion at Victor Ashe Park. This is a family friendly event! Please RSVP on by Sept. 5th so we can get an idea of how much meat to buy. You may do so on the Facebook event, meetup, or comment below.

Atheist Society will be raffling off some great prizes, so bring a couple bucks for raffle tickets.

Atheist Society of Knoxville’s statement regarding inhumane treatment and conditions for migrants.

From the President of the Atheist Society of Knoxville Alistair Elliott:

As affiliates of American Atheists, we stand by this statement.

We’ve watched in horror as our government has caged human beings, denying them their basic needs. We condemn the actions of the Trump Administration and the Border Patrol Agents who are responsible for these atrocities.

With American Atheists, we take a stand and demand an end to the inhumane treatment of our fellow human beings.

Ending Hunger Art Auction

Sunday June 22, 2019 we will be hosting a silent art auction at The Concourse (details below) to benefit our Ending Hunger campaign. This event will run from 12:00pm – 6pm. We will have a live DJ (as seen in the Pride Parade) and a bartender on site. Come on out, bid on some art from local artists, and have a great time supporting a good cause.
