Atheist Society of Knoxville (ASK) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to promote humanistic values through community outreach while advocating for the separation of church and state, equality, as well as providing community, camaraderie, and outreach to the atheist community of East Tennessee.
The organization was originally founded in 2002 by Larry Rhodes as a social group for like-minded individuals that share secular and humanistic values. Today, we’ve grown to over 1000 meetup memberships, over 280 members in our private Facebook group, and have a large weekly meetup (check our meet-up page on our side bar) that provides camaraderie to the atheist and secular community of Knoxville.
Larry also hosts a radio show, “Freethought Radio Hour” on WOZO 103.9 FM Wednesday’s from 7:00-8:00PM. You can listen live here.
