Read and understand the instructions before you do anything. Do this on the phone or PC that you check e-mail from.
**If you encounter problems: Read the confirmation email and Step 3. Don’t click “Join”.**
- Click Here to start an email to ask-email-list+subscribe@knoxvilleatheists.org
- Click “Send” in the email that opens. Wait about 5-10 minutes for the confirmation email. It should say:
“We received your request to join ask-email-list.
In order for us to complete the request, please reply to this email…” - Reply to the confirmation email. Don’t click “Join” – just hit “Reply” and click “Send”
- You should receive a message stating “You have joined the group ask-email-list@knoxvilleatheists.org”. Ignore the “visit this group…” button.
That’s it. You will now receive emails as they are sent to the list.
To unsubscribe from the list:
- Find a message that was sent to the list. Look for a line near the bottom that reads “To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to ask-email-list+unsubscribe@knoxvilleatheists.org…”
- Click the email address in that line. This should to start an email to ask-email-list+unsubscribe@knoxvilleatheists.org. Send that message.
- There is no confirmation message; you should just stop receiving emails from the list.
